You can go on taking advice like this, watching how the AFC “hero” on a Lifetime movie perseveres and finally scores the big dinner date (his treat) when the girl of his dreams finally rewards him for being so patient while she was doing the naked pretzel with that “jerk”.

Today I woke up nice and early and went to go get a energy drink before my workout. I saw this cute little black haired, nice tan, girl working behind the counter, and it was game on.

I’m not bragging that I’m getting that good… but one year ago today, I would have said “Oh, shes hot and probably has a
boyfriend”. How things have changed!

Here’s how it went:

ME: Are you a martial artist?

HER: No, why?

ME: I noticed you when I walked and you carry yourself with a lot of discipline, it’s just that, I really admire that in a woman so I had to say something.

ME: Right. They begin to feel that connection really building between two people.

Then I finished the pattern and her friend butted in and said “read my palm”.

So, it was a good fractionation I guess.  I read her friend’s palm then went back to the hot black haired girl.

ME: Have you ever played the cube game?

HER: No.

ME: It’s just like palm reading but almost exactly to the T.  I’d like to take you out sometime and get to know the person wrapped inside all of the pretty. What would be the process to do that?

HER: (Gives me her number) (then I smile and leave).

RJ here again. Typically I recommend scheduling the time to go out rather than getting her number. Her phone number is what you use to call her AFTER she rides your baloney pony.

But she was at work. Maybe she had a line of customers forming and she was out of time at the moment.

Dear Speed Seduction® Student,

For many students, overcoming approach anxiety can’t be done by simply saying “suck it up and get in there, champ!”

Even (perhaps especially) if that message is delivered by your well-meaning buddies surrounding you at the party: “There she is.  She’s f@@king HOT.  Dude.  DUDE.  GO FOR IT!”

Approach anxiety can be scary. Scary things aren’t fun.

But what if you could have fun with it?  Would it be a little less scary?

Perhaps one or more of the following would help:

1. Laugh. Seriously – laugh.  Imagine the silliest f@@king thing you can happening.  Like she rejects you and you turn into a pink rabbit with a fluffy tail.

2. Deliberately see how many rejections you can get. Rather than fighting rejection, paradoxically seek it out. Think of the stupidest think you could possibly say (without being threatening or offensive) and then try your best to get rejected and, at all costs, NOT get accepted or welcomed.  Give yourself a reward for each rejection-say a favorite meal or a porn movie or whatever you like.

3. Admit your truth to the woman. Walk up and say, “Excuse me, but I am totally terrified of talking to woman and I’ve really had enough of surrendering to fear.  So I know this may seem uncomfortable, but you are really helping me just by letting me do this”.

Sound crazy?

You will be shocked at how kind most people are when faced when genuine vulnerability and emotional honesty.  Why? Because on some level, ALL humans carry around a lot of fear. So someone who will admit it, appears as very brave!

No shit!

A lot of the problem with fear of approaching is guys try to HIDE the fear from the other person. So rather than hide it, FEATURE it.

Still sound crazy?

What’s crazy is doing the same thing you’ve been doing up until now and expecting a different result.

Dear Speed Seduction® Student,

A student of mine who has bought a few courses reported back to me on his progress learning and mastering the skills.

Part of his self-assessment featured the “chewing vs. doing” penumbra:

“I’m realizing what I’ve been doing throughout this whole time of trying to learn Speed Seduction®. I was trying to go over it so much and asking, ‘Am I getting it? Am I not?’ I wasn’t going out there and taking the risks I should be.”

And that last part, is a big part of the problem, right there.  He needs to watch his language.

It’s not “as I should be.”

“Should” is a tricky thing. “Should” sounds like you’re making a commitment. “Should” sounds like you’re stepping into action. In reality, “should” makes no commitment to action at all.

I can say, “I really should go workout tomorrow.” It doesn’t do anything as far as actually directing my mind to take a single step. It’s not what you should be doing, but what you choose to be doing and what you claim to be doing.

This is an easy way that people block themselves. They say, “I really should commit to working out tomorrow.”  That’s a way of delaying. That’s a way of procrastinating. It’s putting off the decision.

What if I say to you, “Would you meet me tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. and I’ll give you $1,000?” You say, “I really should.” That is not a promise to show up. That’s not saying, “Yes, I will.” or “Yes, I choose to do so.”

(Hey I don’t know about you but, f@@k, if you’re going to give me $1,000, I’ll be there.)

Another thing we do in Speed Seduction® is watch to see how thoughts are formulated. In the process of learning how your thoughts are formulated, you learn about how other people do it.

Then you begin to lose your fear and dread of other people because you see how deeply stuck they are. They’re stuck in the same world you used to be.  Even when they frustrate you, you begin to develop a kind of compassion.

You say, “Wait a minute. I see how that’s being produced in them.”  

This is really a wonderful opportunity to do a lot more than get good at attracting chicks.

Start by watching your language.

Think about this for a minute: why do some women play games?

A woman’s motivation for playing games (or for acting like a drama queen) is often that she wants to lose the game. The way she loses the game is you reject her a little. That will show her that you can create the drama she needs to feel attracted to you.

I hate to say it, but that’s what’s going on. You have to be willing to reject her.

What she really wants to see is if you are willing to walk away from her. That’s when it appeals to her. She needs a little bit of drama and someone who’s willing to show that he’ll reject her, because guys have rejected her in the past.

A woman who play games, generally speaking, is afraid of intimacy. She needs to pick guys who are going to reject her
sooner or later. This happens unconsciously. She doesn’t put it together verbally.

In her mind, it goes like this. She thinks, “Whenever I get close to guys, they reject me. That’s good because I’m miserable and afraid of really opening to a guy. I’m only going to pick guys who will show me that they’ll reject me and make me feel hurt.”

In this case, she’s doing it because she wants to feel rejected. Once she feels rejected, then she’ll feel safe to have sex with you because she knows that you’re not going to let her really get close and she doesn’t have to really open up.

That’s what’s going on.
